I've been to that one! Its a good little show. A pity there's only one dealer with ancients. If I weren't busy today, I'd go meet up with you.
Is this your first show? If so, be prepared for an experience unlike any other. I remember fondly my first coin show, and there were only about 20 dealers at that one.
BNB If there are 100+ tables, that would be unusual. Last time I went to it, it was maybe 20-30 tables. Some nice dealers though.
Great show. Just got back. Show was advertised as 100+ but maybe it was cut in half when I got there. I went to town with 90% silver and bought 90% silver quarters for as low as $2.90! Got some more silver.. And more silver.. I am a silver hoarder and need to go to Silver Hoarders anonymous. Anyway, great show. Sold about $15 in 90% silver quarters and dimes for $193 to a dealer. Not bad, he was a very silver hungry dealer! Got mostly deals, but a few steals Great show. I'll be in Long Island next week and Meriden, CT as well. Then back off to LA for Long beach??? Btw, I know I mentioned retiring and I have not purchased any high end coins since Dec. 3rd so I am sticking by my commitment. bnb
Hmmmm, Meriden...I was planning to be there....maybe we'll run into each other!! No more high-end coins? Maybe you should change your handle to 'BNB Precious Metals & Analytics'??
I'll also be there, I totally forgot the show after Christmas! I got my days mixed up with the holidays. When will you be there? Raider, are you going?
Yeah, I'm going. What's the address and info on that show? I can't find it on Numismaster's site. bnb
Yep, I'll be there, hopefully I'll get there around 11:00. I'll have to see if Ken's going too. Melville Coin Show The address is 585 Broadhollow Rd (It's right off the LIE): 585 broadhollow road melville Maps starts at 9 usually closes a little before 2.
Both.. I guess this is what people do when they go to shows. It's called a show report Try it sometime. bnb
