2012 Shield Cent Die Clash Piece?

    I assumed this was the best forum to post this on, as I guess it may be an error?

    I came across this shield cent from some rolls I am going through. I know that this would normally be considered a die clash if it were indented into the coin, but I'm not sure what to classify this as exactly. It seems like the reverse shield is on whatever material is on the obverse. Not sure if this is more commons than not.

    Superglue clash perhaps. looks like someone glued two cents together then separated them you can see the bubbles int he glue also where are got trapped and it hardened.

    Ah, that would make a lot more sense that someone just glued them together. That is most likely what this is. Thanks!

    I agree . You can see bubbles from the Glue .

    Nope.. Die clashes are not indented into a coin.

    Agreeing with glue. I can also see it in places around the periphery.
