David Hall has stated that all colorful Peace Dollars are AT. I'm happy his graders feel differently. :smile Let's see your colorful Peace Dollars.

Nice coin... I use to have a 34-D with the same toning above Lady Liberty. It looked like her hair was on fire.

I have too many to post pics of.... Here's a link to most of them... I have another 10 or so I havent imaged yet.... And I am still looking for a MS 34-S.

Sometimes he says things that are just weird. Of course Peace Dollars can tone...just like all silver. Their surface causes them to tone differently than other coins but they certainly can tone colorfully.

Yes not only can they tone naturally, most tone very nicely. The comment made that all peace dollars tone AT only is ridiculous. Here's one that I bought awhile back, check the crack die. :kewl:

I am sorry but the first coins is a forgeryy ou can see the Word '1922 ' is not correct on it. Please refer your red book thank you. :)

The coin has been authenticated by PCGS. I am not sure what you expect people to learn by consulting the redbook, but perhaps you should back up your counterfeit claim rather than leaving others to do the research for you.

Back to the topic of the thread. Here are some toned Peace Dollars.

the Amerikan redd books give you always information to determine authentication, and this coin is not authentic. Check the word '1922' and please refer to red book. :)

Still in the dark as to why you would consider this a phony. Looks fine to me.....

So with your 36 posts under your belt, we are supposed to believe that the red book has some secret authentication information that only you can see and that the professional graders at PCGS are unaware of. Give us a break!

Since it is apparent that you have no intention of backing up your ridiculous claim, I will be happy to refute it. This is an excerpt from PCGS's THE OFFICIAL GUIDE TO COIN GRADING AND COUNTERFEIT DETECTION (page 267).

The 1922 is a very common coin even in mint state grades. What on earth would make you think the 1922 in the OP which has been authenticated by PCGS is counterfeit? I should warn you that your failure to answer this question will ruin your credibility on this forum.

I am expirienced 30 years in Amerikan Numismatiks and i have red the read book twice. :) I know what I am speaking you can see there is a 5 under the two which makes it a very clear forgey. Please refer to red book section 5 for more!! :)

edited have you been smoking? Its apparent that you have a hard time with spelling and English grammar, please at least use a spell checker before trying to assault us with your nonsense.

Paul, those are some beautiful Peace $'s, especially the first 1922.

Looks fine to me as well, although it looks to be a VAM 1A-2 with the die gouge going across Liberty's rays. Not seeing what Niko is talking about.
