What did CoinJockey73 find today?

Was going through some S nickels I found CRH last year and found this 1951 S. With a mintage of just under 8 million I think it’s a keeper , even though it’s not in great condition.

I'm keeping it because of the S. Otherwise, that's a date I'd throw back. I'm fickle though, lol. Nice find!

 

The S mint marks is cool, but that along with the low mintage number makes it UBER cool! LOL! Ilove any coin with a mintage under 10 million. for 1951 nickels there were 28M P 20M D and only 7,776,000 S.

 

I thought this was a ddr, but on closer examination, not so sure.

A very beat up Weir.
That actually marks my 100th in hand find on W mint mark quarters. That's NOT counting the 3 i gave away in that second contest, the one i sent out in @Beardigger 's name to @dimeguy, or the one i sent to one of my idols, @Randy Abercrombie. So technically, I've found 105. This all started on the 19th of April, 2021. Lol
