July 30th & 31st. I guess its like the 40th annual so just wondering if anybody has ever been? I've never been to any coin shows so I probably should just go.... but is it worth driving down 1.5 hrs? I collect mostly world right now. Any feedback is appreciated.
I've never been, but the show is advertised as having 125 tables. That's a pretty decent sized show - not too small to be disappointing, not too big to be overwhelming. If you've never been to a coin show, that sounds like a great show to start with. Go check it out!
I'm considering going after seeing this post. I'm an hour and a half away as well, but it would be fun to get to show again.
Of course it is. You can stop for Skyline Chili before the show, then grab a LaRosa's pizza on the way home. Win win.
I was at the monthly Cleveland show yesterday but could only spend a few minutes there. The place was JAMMED. I think this bodes well for the hobby.
I've been to the Cincinnati show at the Sharonville Convention Center a few times and found it pleasant experience. The hall it was in was spacious so there was nice wide aisles and spaces to catch your breath. A good mixture of higher end and more affordable materials. Enough dealers to keep you busy for awhile browsing. No admission fee and free parking so that is really nice.
If there was a show that close to me, I would go. It's been too long. Looks like January will be my first chance but I'll have to fly. Can't book my flight but booked the hotel last week.
