    I think that may be an issue of the General Military Office based on the character at the top on the reverse.

    Oh, good! Thank you, Muzyck! I will need to re-research. So you're saying, in your opinion, no Joseon Kingdom?

    Anyway, it dawned on me, belatedly, that there is no date on that coin, is there? If no is the unanimous answer, that is a violation of the rules. So, I hereby withdraw and submit anew . . .

    German States - Saxony, Albertine Line, a fractional thaler - 0.167 thaler. Or 1/80 mark.

    Ahhh, I think I see what you're saying. Joseon is good but you were identifying the mint or authorizing authority. My records include this: "
    Yi dynasty; Chong (Military); 1633-1892; series 3," which seems consist with your reply. Heh?
