It was nice and I agreed with the grade. Had a uniform gun metal gray toning, but full sparkling luster.
The figures do not show that things are getting better, unless your are vaccinated. Some people refuse to get the shots, go figure! It is great that we are seeing an up swing in the open door policy once again. Glad that you enjoyed the show, thanks for sharing the results.
Not surprising. Key date nice coins are through the ceiling. Forget bargains on dates like that. I am concentrating on Kennedy Half variants, and rarer ancillary coins, and ultra gems. The market is not that crazy yet for those.
I went against the grain. I bought Confederate currency (all 1861 series notes), ancient coins and only a couple of U.S. pieces. I had one dealer say that they had to pay 10 to 15% of Grey Sheet "bid" to get good material. I heard some say that they were concerned about getting good material for future business.
Wish I had that problem . . . . . . kidding, of course. I know you meant "over" instead of "of". I concur. Nice coins seem to be in strong hands, and not coming loose very freely.
