I recently purchased my first Roman Republic coin, and it is a goat biga denarius! I decided to pull the trigger after seeing all the nice biga coins in the CT posts. I like this example, since "ROMA" and the chariot wheel are still within the flan. Have to sacrifice some high-point softness though. Need to look for a snake biga next. C.
