That's awesome that your son is into it. It's buffalos that caught my eye as a kid. Still quickens my pulse when i see one in circulation. Those three may be my 23rd-5th in-circulation buffalos since last year. Thanks again for stopping by @dano.
Not always. I wish. This week is a dog compared to recents and this week is a stellar year, to some novice hunters. Thanks for stopping by @John Burgess. I know this thread has crazy amounts of views, but it doesn't say who views, so i can thank them. So, thank you! Lol
and my fourth buffalo! Three Monday and one today. I believe it's a 1929 D. Can't tell exactly till i get it to my good loupe.
I'm so jaded. I think a had a crappy week. 4 buffalo nickels, 5 steel wheats, one of which is stellar, 3 W mint marks, and 3 S mint mark proof/business. Plus seven 1939 nickels. 33 keepers in 4 days. And I'm having a bad week, lol.
Not a find, but by far the coolest thing I've gotten all month. Young master @Matthew Kruse and i had discussed a roll of my nickel finds, so i sent one out to him. My pleasure. Turns out, there were a few in there to fill a few holes in an album. That's exactly why i send the rolls out to YNs. These coins can't be easy to find, so let me send them and maybe you'll need a few. That's my goal. Anyway... As every single person on the site knows, i hail from the metro ny area, and young Mr. Kruse sent me this absolute beauty, for me to display proudly. Thank you @Matthew Kruse for your generosity. Very thoughtful. And I'm dead serious, coolest thing all month. Too cool. *edit- From July 1 https://www.cointalk.com/threads/what-did-coinjockey73-find-today.375864/page-60
