I done went to looking through my 82 I will promise you all I will do my research this coin comes off copper coins this coin matches with the die markers and it ant to bad off a coin I want bother you guys about a doubled die I will look them up and markers match I may Post it like I'm this one. I figured I would get the big dogs own this I believe the only 82 large date zinc I pretty sure it was the only one they are so it is possible it could be a DDO and DDR and I could be wrong but the front man it is like a perfect match on IGWT looks just like the one they show and the back there is a die clAsh on the 3 bottom building and it does look like die clash all the scratches match let's see what you guys see now I can learn more about doubled die coins buy looking at them my self.
In my opinion and I'm sure other members will agree.. Even if it were a Doubled Die variety it would be so minor it wouldn't be worth having. I'm not seeing anything. Sorry. I don't bother looking for them and I haven't since the late 1990's when the last major Doubled Die was discovered in 1995.
The known one has medium thickness in IGWT. Die scratch northeast from mouth and die scratches in the upper V of M in America
I done some reading the 82p small date zinc doubled die reverse is worth a quiet a bit of money paddy man or do you done got that one two do you have all major errors would be like a 69s doubled die obverse I guess this a varties be more on point when I talk I done to much research on coins Paddy man a guy showed me a 71 doubled die obverse really nice find the say there hard to find he found it last week I was talking to a guy awile ago and I think he hit the nail on the head I was even thinking about it start collecting mint coins and I do that anyway way I only show you my ugly coins never I really show what I have found I'm going to start doing that and right now I'm getting some nice coins from the bank that is all I do I'm getting ready to go get 10 thousand pennies I have a few wheat Penny's I need to try to find I got them just in better shape.
It has the look of DDO-002 but it also has a bit of Die Deterioration. Put it in a flip and come back to it after you have gained more knowledge. The photos have too much light to confirm or deny IMO.
Thanks pickin and grinn I done some research on it it pretty much line right up with every thing else seem like the scratches were all in the right spot theIGWT seem like it was perfect with my coin but I will put it in a 2x2 thanks makes me feel like I done A little better
Doubled Die are known as Varieties. I don't collect varieties. I specialize in Mint Errors which is a different category. Sorry buddy.
Yeah that is right I keep thinking Paddy man you collect them all I like the pic out the better coins and if I might see something crazy I will go to get help I never really understood how much help is out there I mean the varieties that I like the doubled die coins I can go to a few sites and they will walk that coin too a tee if I want to post I can give people my research but that don't make me right ever time but I have had a good day I put a couple in a flip and I have plenty I love all this help it is like I just opened my eyes for the first time that is the difference now I get My grammar better I want to be something in this year's from now I call it giving it back nothing wrong with it.
