When I originally saw this thread, I was resigned to the fact that I had no ancient dog coins. Last night looking through some recent purchases, I had a "duh" moment. Dog, cow and calf, and dramatically off-center: Illyria, Dyrrhachium Drachm Class D5 (57 B.C.) Zenon and Philodamos ΞEN[ΩN], cow standing right, looking back at calf which it suckles, [eagle above], hound running right below / [ΔYP Φ]IΛO ΔA [MOY], double stellate pattern in square.
