    Obverse Die Deterioration - Struck Through Grease

    The same thing as the other one, built up grease on that die. The successive strikes squeeze it out to the perimeter where it just hangs there. The body was affected, but not as much, because it's real deep on the die.

    Good rule of thumb, here, for future reference. Even though they're very common, when they're this extreme, they're keepers. :cool:
