Can someone confirm deny this as a die clash?

I don’t know if I’ve convinced myself I can see the images of the reverse or if I actually can, please help. I think there is what appears to be a die break going around the word states from rim to rim. But I’m a newb any help would be greatly appreciated

It would help to see the other side of your coin to see how the reverse devices line up with the suspected clash marks. Since there's no obverse date, I assume it's a State Quarter design (or later)...but which one?

 

I can't see what you're talking about. Better photos would help.

I don't see a die break but I see something on George's upper forehead that could be a clash.

 

Yessir it looks to me like that’s where both of the cracks lead coming from the rim on the opposite ends of the word states

I see some contact marks/hits, but
nothing that says 'clashed dies' on it.

 

My old eyes just can't make out anything from the pictures. The circled areas with labels seem to align with the reverse...so it's possible. I love clashed dies so I keep them when I find them.

 

I'm just not seeing it and believe pareidolia is at play.

If it helps any, I put an overlay next to your quarter image. The overlay is assuming no rotation on the reverse (which is almost never the case) but it might help when doing a comparison.



I have to admit my eyes are not discerning any images that would match either. Sorry about that...
