This thread could end up being a long one. Today all the pocket change I got went into the change jar getting ready for Coinstar one day.
Well I did find a few 70's nickels this week, but not many. Most were 80's or 90's. Have not found anything 59 or older in a while. And yes - 58 is real old. That was made before I was born.
Awww - now I feel bad. I was born in 1962. I still remember sitting at grandma's house in the late 1960's and getting to search her pennies just to find the wheat cents. And at that time I always thought of the 1950 dates as being old. Good ol' days.
good one!:thumb: Also, the OP just needs to try roll searching, probably have a handful of those "old" nickels with $10 worth of Jeffersons.
Being a late baby boomer (1962) I take great offence to you calling those nickels old - Now get off my lawn!!! And you can have your parents call me to get your ball back :vanish:
Anything before 1983 is old, 1983 will always be the young ones, and 1982 and older is old. OH, we were talking about COINS? Oops, my mistake!
