Lovely coin. For a brief moment (after reading the title of this thread) I thought that 11 cent 'nut' might be back..........
When the Bahamas switched from the pound to the dollar, the pound was worth a little under $3. To aid in the transition, they minted 15c coins (roughly a shilling) and printed $3 notes. It doesn't seem like either are heavily used, but both denominations are still made. 1966 and 1969 were minted at the British Royal Mint, FM took over from 1970-85, then the Royal Mint did up to at least 2005. It's unknown where the 2018 coins were minted.
