This poor New Hampshire quarter

    Found this quarter in a bank roll while doing laundry, poor thing. I wonder what happened. Besides the obvious damage, it still has really nice details on Washington and the old man of the mountain. What do you think?

    I feel bad for that quarter! looks like someone took a hammer to it!!! Did you know the face fell off of the old man of the mountain? SAD!!!

    I think you need a new quarter as that one can’t be used in any type of machine.

    No I did not, I wish more had been done to try and preserve it though. Landmarks like these need to be protected.
