Does anyone wanna learn me on what full bands are?

I'm thinking dimes may be my calling and I've been learning about full torchbor full bands. I've got a misaligned dime that I think has full bands. But I dunno if it's got full bands enough to be worth saving. Any advice? Thank you so much! 20210625_151434.jpg 20210625_151455.jpg

No and if i remember correctly for rosevelt dimes its full torch and full bands applys to mercury dimes.Yours is neither, they don't usually add any value and I suggest to only look for full torch on silver rosies. But I doubt your going to find a BU full struck one in circulation it'll cost you a little more if really interested into them.

Full torch is for Roosevelt and Full Bands for Mercury dimes. For Roosevelt, PCGS I think requires both sets of upper and lower horizontal bands to be distinct and separated. NGC for Mercury dimes require all three sets of horizontal bands to be split with PCGS only requires middle horizontal bands to be split.

Your coins do not show split bands and I hope this brings some clarity to the issue.

BU? Silver rosie? I'm unfamiliar with those terms? Can you explain? Thank you so much!

BU is brilliant uncirculated. Silver Roosie is a Roose Elton dime from 1946 to 1964 when they were produced.

I see, thank you. I do have some silver rosies, they don't have any bands lol. But they're super cool and I love them!

I love dimes and always will. I do think we are a select breed. I don't find many who like to collect dimes, sadly enough so welcome to the club! I love the Mercury you posted. I have an entire set (minus the 1916 D) in similar grade. Definitely my favorite grade!

Here is a Mercury I have graded MS 66 FB by NGC. The Roosevelt I post is not officially graded but I would consider it full torch. Hope this helps and welcome to the forum!
