is this legit toning? http://cgi.ebay.com/1896-P-Morgan-S...mQQptZCoins_US_Individual?hash=item1e59bed56f
ABSOLUTELY NOT! Look at his other items. He has 15 crazy rainbow toned coins. What to they all have in common. None of them are certified and hardly any of them have bids. The scary part is that this guy has been doctoring coins or brokering AT coins for a long time on E-Bay. This batch is the best I have ever seen from him. I sincerely hope he is not getting better at his craft, otherwise he might start to fool people.
I actualy didn't look at his other auctions...?I just saw that one and I thought I better post on this to get some opinions on this it just seemed too colorful to be true. thanks for the response
Not at all... too neon and no progression of color. If you see "easter egg" colors on coins that is a dead giveaway of AT. If you see a seller on Ebay with 12 easter egg coins -- I would purchase a cheap one so you can see an AT in hand a learn how to spot AT better. Never be afraid to learn.
I wasn't planning on buying unless it was stated legit and a darn good reason why it was legit and still i would probably have a nagging voice in the back of my mind that would stop me in the last second...i also follow my gut
I bought one of him naively a year ago. A 1879 and a 1880. Still have them so i can identify whats a fake and whats not. Thanks

When you've played enough with that silver coin toner as he has you're bound to get better.
