Wow...I'm kind of torn on this one. On the one hand, I really agree that it has the eye appeal of a gem grade...but on the other, I feel like I see just the slightest amount of rub on the high points on both sides. (Side note: I LOVE me some high-grade WLH...my favorite era of US coinage) Anyway, since people have already guessed some gem grades, I'm going to bite the bullet and say AU58...but the kind of AU58 you'd rather have than a generic MS63 or below. I could also be wrong.
Nice FH for sure...will go 64 from photos from which seem to show/convey a somewhat flat or lack-less luster plus some weak skirt lines.
That's every bit a MS66 on wasted dies. I really like those a real lot. That's one real wonderful coin you got there, I'm real envious. Really.
I too am seeing what I'd call circulation wear, so while it is a beautifully struck coin with lots of nice details, if it was circulated, even the slightest, then AU58 would be my call.
If it is actually wear on both the thigh and skirt lines on the obverse and the high points of the eagle on the reverse as some others have suggested, then AU-58 would be most appropriate.
I see a slightly weak strike and a touch of color change on the leg and eagle breast on the reverse. I would grade it at AU58.
I see very slight wear on both sides, and go with AU58 also. However, I would not even bet a dime that I'm right, as I'm quite sure this will grade as MS something. Steve
