Not an error just damage a deep gouge from something ,still a cent.

 

Agreed...looks like something gouged the coin badly into the zinc.

 

Wouldn't matter...that nutty-acorn "shield" is an error in/of itself, so no such thing as an error on an error...even if it were an error.

 

Honestly, I kinda like the shield reverse. It's better than the old Memorial.
