I have enjoyed my time spent on this site, and I have participated in quite a few contests, so I will hold a contest for my 700th post, and it IS Christmas, this contest will have as prizes some silver, some cents, and some Barber coinage.

As I have written before the whole slabbed coin thing is new to me, none of the coins I inherited from my dad were slabbed, but my favorite dealer had a slabbed coin that had been sitting in his shop for quite a while, I bought it, my first slabbed coin.

All you have to do to win is post what slabbed coin I bought, the date of the coin, denomination, mintmark (if any), the grade, the tpg that slabbed it, and the price I paid for it, in case of a tie, the last three digits of the slabs id number will break the tie.

I know that it might be impossible to nail it, so everyone will get two guesses, I have a 100 point scoring system in place so you will get points for being close. the contest will end tuesday at 5 pm central time.

here are some of the prizes, a giant one ounce silver buffalo proof (4" dia), and some silver bullion rounds, some lincoln lp1 and 2s, a holed 1935 buffalo nickel, a 1902 Barber quarter, and a 1905 Barber nickel

    Hope you enjoy the contest!
