This is a beautiful coin it is just eat up with air bubbles. It looks like it has some doubling on it but hard to tell from the air bubbles. On the back of the one cent look like it is doubled die but the air bubbles got me through off some. I believe it is still a error coin just from all the air bubbles at least that is what said on this site I'm on. This coin has a beautiful color to it want find none no more beautiful than this in a roll of coins.
Yes to Plating Bubbles.. Not a Doubled Die variety. I only see Die Deterioration doubling which has nothing to do with a true Doubled Die variety. Hopefully one day you will understand the difference.
Plating bubbles will distort every device on a coin. I am personally a fan of coins like this. Especially those coins without plating issues.
I'm working on it I know it don't look like it but this is more harder than it looks I'm not joking I've done so much research my head hurts. I'm starting to think that a doubled die is something that happened 30 years ago people pulled them out of cirlation before they could really be used. From what I gather there were a lot of people in this than now. I understand why there all gone ever now and then you will here about some one finding one. Maybe once a year I go through bank rolls ever day off my life and can't find none really no kinda error if I think about it but people are not going to stay in a hobby that there is nothing to find. Even the best of the best can't find them and most live were there at you guys are having to buy them. I thought all this time you guys are finding them in rolls you are just buying them have you guys found anything any good with out buying them. I'm just curious after reading that site I thought you guys have been finding them. Now guys they have to be out there if 500 thousand got lose only a handful have been talk about. Go on ebay there is really that many own there specially a high grade.
If the rarity's were so readily available, they wouldn't carry the value they do. Honestly there is more profit from high MS coins if you are looking for value, Doubled dies are a niche. That niche is well rewarded if you know what your are looking for, still in the mean time look for Unc coins and Almost Unc coins. Take your time, stash away questionable coins. Newbies make mistakes and it is the amount of time you put into this hobby that equals value. Keep at it, and don't give up. I was years at it brother, hang in there.
Thanks for the lift I ant going no we're this is part of my recovery I've picked this up when I got clean. I look at it like this I didn't have noneing to do with coins to I got clean and I mean clean I had some months behind me that is what I was told when I had to go away to a special rehab my conslor to me don't go straight out in get in voled in anything that going to make you think to hard. He told me to go buy a plant and try to keep it a live I still have it today it is the most beautiful and nothing ever would change that if that flour starts dying that means I'm dying never I go back the next thing I do after a year is some kinda of animals you have to take care of it every day for a year I didn't even post to get in a relationship for 5 years of being clean sorry couldn't wait that long but she is my rock she puts it in my place my kinda woman. Them I was looking at some change found a beautiful coin it was a 1969s and I've not look back I've got some nice coins there are MS condition is the older they are and there MS condition is worth more I've got some nice old coins the only problem I have is the steps on theme I will find some with the steps are on their but they will be something else wrong can't when

Not having to talk to someone like me about other things but I appreciate you took the time out of your day and said everything you just said. I'm a collector I don't show no body my coins i am a knife collector to be for back in my crazy days I could not have nothing because of my habbits now I have ever think I want I have a life now that is what I like about coins. There is nothing harder to find is that special coin that is why they call it special if this was easy I would not be interested in this at all. Just amgine finding a 43 s copper penny now days that would be crazy if you were living at that time and they came out it would be so easy what about a 55 DDO you would not believe me that I found such a coin cause people living in that time period got them. But I think different I believe anything is possible I never thought I would say I've been clean for 10 years but I have no one never saw that I didn't think it was possible if I can get clean and stay clean any thing is possible I believe there is coins out there that would blow your mind. There is no body does this folks I told a guy the other day and the quarter with the W and in two or 3 days he found one could not believe it he give it to me just for telling about it didn't get out of cirlation not fast enough scratch up pretty bad
