    I'm looking for some input on this coin. Looks like a woody maybe a strikethrough??

    Cool. Woodies are fun finds!
    Your exposure is a bit bright...I'm sure it looks even better with the white balance corrected...

    I'm guessing it looks a little more like this :shame:

    @James Gordon, that's a wonderful one. We've some 17s like that. Will you look a that rim. They don't make them like that anymore...

    Woodies are collectable but not very valuable. They are unique and are keepers. You have a nice one there. Thanks for posting it.

    Love it! Years ago (decades ago) I would have tossed woodies back into the wild as defective/ugly coins. Now I hunt for them!

    Somewhere in the $1-2 range. Really depends on the buyer. JMO

    Some folks really like the Woody appearance. I like it...but generally not on an investment coin. The early LWCs had plenty of years where woodies were prevalent.

    My gut tells me that it's some kind of PMD. Does anyone have one that's relatively less-circulated?
