The first cent I can not make out what year it is....I am guessing post mint damage... The other cent appears to be a 1980....My wife saw the photo on my computer screen as I was taking it's picture with my Microscope and she said, " EWWWWHHH...It looks like Chickenpox!!!.....She was having a bad day so I just smiled and nodded my head yes....Hey....Ya gotta do that sometimes, I know you know....
Pirates initially used a plain black flag, adding the skull and crossbones later and called it the Jolly Roger. A black spot is an area with no cell phone reception signal. These two cents, the first is a 1984…have indeed suffered the black plague. Please bury them in a sealed coin coffin as quickly as possible, you don’t want to get any of that stuff on you…then be sure to wash your hands…jmho…Spark
@Spark1951 Correct about the flag but but the black spot was just that. A black spot was usually on a piece of white paper, with a nickel to quarter size black circle on it. It was called the black spot and the person that received it did not live very long.
