There was another lesson that we all -- except for "rlm's cents" -- can learn, too: to give the benefit of the doubt, at least for a short while, to the seller. (I'm excluding "rlm's cents" because he already knew that!). In fact, he's more of a victim than "FastMoneyPlaya", because FastMoneyPlaya is getting his money back. As for the seller? Who knows . . . ?
I now am convinced that you are an Ebay eggspert, bar none. Bet he is glad he didn't buy if "off Ebay"! But oh,oh, you consider that to be a heanus crime.
Actually, I got the guy's phone number from EBay and tried calling but found it was an non-working number. So I called EBay and they said that is a violation of the EBay agreement (you are supposed to provide a working phone number when you register), so they put a freeze on the seller's account. Shortly thereafter, I got my money refunded through Paypal with a cryptic message from the seller saying he didn't know it was fake. That may or may not be true, but at least I got my money back. End of story.
I guess I was wrong when I said "I believe the only thing that went goodbye was your $$$" Congrats on the refund.
