It's a tough call, it really is, but my vote would be for Italy! (1860s-introduction of the euro)

    How about y'all?

I was originally thinking UK but then you got me thinking about all the beautiful Italian designs and won me over.

    What about Canada, eh?

(I’m a sucker for Canadian coins.)

I'm fine with any of these choices, but as a statement of personal opinion, I'd probably go with Portugal or Spain.

Dansco used to produce a Canadian Type Album. However, they haven't produced one since the 1980s, by my estimation.

I would love to see Germany. 1871-Date! Might taken more than 1 album though.

A little bit off topic, but I think Dansco really should improve their website. IMO, they have a great product but not a visually pleasing or easy to navigate webpage. Also, the pictures of their products don't do the product justice.

Dansco, in the early 60s, produced an album for German Commemorative coins and German Colonial Coins. However, these albums are quite scarce, to put it mildly.

I've seen photos of the commemorative coins album. If I could find one I would try and buy it.

I haven’t seen one for sale in quite some time. If I recall correctly one sold on eBay in 2019 for about $340.

Yeah. I remember I saw one a year or so ago sell for several hundred.

Spain would be awesome, but what year would it start with?

    Good Question.

I'm no expert on Spanish or Portuguese coins by any means, but I'd probably start with the decimalized Real starting in 1848. However, if that proved to be impractical, I'd probably start with the Escudo (1864-1868) or the Peseta (1868-2001) in addition to any Euro-type coins issued for general circulation.

I agree that the Canada set should be re-issued, but then so should the Philippines which had some beautiful coins.

Indeed! Though I think the original album was issued by Whitman for that one.

I'd love for them to bring back the Japan Type album, updated of course. Italy has beautiful coins too. I've been tempted by them, and a Dansco would help.

    Do them all!

Only problem is usually the earlier coins are likely to have a scarce type coin which is easily in hundreds or thousands of dollars.

I propose in the following two series album for most countries: 1870s - 1945 (end of silver coinage). 1945 to present.

P.s. can design any albums given time and effort. Any companies wanting to sponsor - pm me

I was thinking about this overnight (before giving an answer) and how about an "Oceania" type set:

    Australia
    New Zealand
    Papua New Guinea
    Fiji
    Tuvalu
    Tokelau
    Cook Islands
    Kingdom of Hawaii (pre-US)
    French Polynesia
    French Oceania
    American Samoa
    Marshall Islands

Lots of absolutely gorgeous designs, lots of variety, silver crowns, aluminum...

I don't really collect by using albums - I like @gxseries method of creating a digital album better (did one for my SBA dollar set) - but IMO this would be a very interesting type set for collectors to work on.

Many of the choices in the OP would be good ones. How 'bout an
album that covers the different coins produced by the U.S. for
    different countries?

Several good choices in this thread. My personal preference would be UK, two sets, maybe three. I currently have an older Whitman for my British Victoria Type Set, but I would like to see Dansco make one just for her, one for milled coinage types, pre-Victoria, and one post-Victoria through 1970 (the pre-decimal stuff). Modern UK (decimal coinage) would probably take at least two or three albums to fit them all, so I wouldn't like those. Dansco used to make an Australian Type Set album, and, as has been previously mentioned, Canada. I think both of those would be popular.

I would love a complete British colonial type set! Imagine: Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Hong Kong, Mauritius, Straits Settlements, East Africa, West Africa, etc.
