1850 Seated Liberty dollar enroute

I don't know enough about that coin series to voice an opinion on authenticity or not. Whether or not you "stole" it from the seller at such a great price is irrelevant as anyone who doesn't do five minutes of research to see what it is they're selling, in my opinion, doesn't deserve to gain what it's actually worth. However, since it was listed in a large public venue and only went for a percentage of it's value has to make me wonder what it was about the piece that made most bidders shun it. That alone makes me believe it's not what it's advertised to be.

I think he stated it was a "buy-it-now" and had only been listed for 15 minutes before he grabbed it.

 

With over 2 months elapsed since the post about it going to NGC, I'm wondering what became of the coin. Did it grade? Or did Nightowl receive a strong offer for it in raw condition? It's just been nagging in the back of my mind ever since...

 

It graded AU 58 I've seen pictures of it in the slab. Ice
