1943 doubled eye Jefferson/grade/value

    Wondering what everyone thought on this 1943 dbl eye Jefferson nickel. Grades and value would be appriciated. This is not my coin by the way.Scratches are on the holder it's in. Thanks!

    It looks to be in Extra Fine (EF or XF) condition and would have a catalog value of US$50.00.

    Why are you asking the grade and value of a coin that is slabbed? Can't you look it up?

    Grade EF-45 or better.need a close up photo to tell if it is a D/eye:kewl:

    :confused: The doubled eye is readily apparent in the first photo, IMO. I agree that the coin is in the $50 range. I have only ever seen uncirculated examples of this variety; the circulated one looks pretty cool. Thanks for posting this.

    BTW: Who's coin is it?

    I agree with the XF 45 ish or above grade,hard to tell in the holder,might be better.
