    Can there be any doubt?

Can anyone tell me what screams "fake" to you the loudest?

There are two or three that I see and I'm a newb...

The seller has zero feedback to boot...

Edit: make that 4 or 5, but one *really* slaps me in the face...

Has anyone reported this item yet? I would if I could figure out how. Could possible save the current bidder(s) some heartache.

Well, the most obvious is that it's a draped bust which weren't minted before 1796!

    Thank goodness for idiots.

And I thought I could find something to appreciate in almost any kind of bust.

The bust is wrong, the stars are wrong, the date is wrong, the font is wrong, the dentils are wrong, the rim is wrong, the edge is wrong, and I haven't even looked at the reverse

There WERE draped bust dollars, with the small eagle, minted in 1795. The Red Book says the mintage was 42,738. But I agree, this coin is as bogus as they come.

Yes, there were draped bust dollars minted in 1795, but the first draped bust half dollars were minted in 1796.

@dcure2002. Open the link and scroll down until you get to where "description of the item" is shown. On the right hand side you'll see "Report this item". Click on that and report it.
I reported it but maybe if more people do the same, it will be taken down.

Thank you all for the informative (and humorous!) responses. There were several dead giveaways that I had not noticed.
