Well, well, well... what have we here ?

Why, it's none other than an 1810 50c just back from PCGS. Just thought I would throw it out for opinions and attributions. Saturday Night's Alright for Fightin', so I hope you get a little action in. :loud: :hammer:

ef-45, maybe it is the pics but the shoulder clasp looks weaker than an au, the arrow feathers also are weak, I have not checked overton yet so perhaps there are strike issues. iow this grade is preliminary, I may change my grade with further study

Having trouble gauging the coin from photos.

If you wanna fight, Genuine-91 is my guess. If you don't, I'll guess 55. :)

    No idea on attribution.

eeeeh I still dont think it gets an au, It looks like o-108, r-3. according to the book only the 106 and 109a are scarcer

900, I can't attribute your pretty 1810 half (EF45-AU50 grade wise in my opinion), but I CAN tell you this: esa es una moneda MUY bonita, senor!

I agree with eduards grade and I also think it is an O-108. I just wish I could see some of the cracks better. Nice coin.

I would have to say, I would pay AU money for that and think it is worthy of the grade. Nice Half. As to the attribution, I'll agree with the overton #108 .

AU53. I dont collect these so I have no clue as to the attributions.

O-108 xf+ or AU- details but, it looks cleaned with artificial secondary toning.

XF-45+ sounds about right, and it doesn't look outright cleaned/AT to me or anything. Might have been dipped at one point, though IMO. Many 'toned' coins like this (as you probably already know, lol) have an old dip...I've had a few pretty attractive ones. Very, very nice coin overall and I'd say worth at least close to AU money.

I think it graded AU53. Beautiful coin, btw! To my eyes it appears to have more luster than required for a 45, and tremendous eye appeal. Hard to tell how much of the "wear" on the reverse is actually friction or weak strike.

...and the answer is... envelope, please...

    O-108, PCGS AU55

    My spin...

Coin looks much better in hand, particularly the color around the date. I feel PCGS may have given the coin a little bump for color. Middle die state.
