$1 Bill with Stamp

I have a $1 one bill with a vertical stamp just to the right of the portrait of George Washington. It looks like some of it is gone, but I can read the last line. It says: ABA052001633
Anyone know what this is?

Pictures would help but by what your describing thats just the bills number out of the other thousands that were produced within that series.

 

A $1.00 bill serial number is only 8 numerals. So it can't be what you said
It sounds like a stamp in ink done after the bill was printed.

Look at the serial number. It's only 8 digits
With 1 letter before it and 1 letter after it.

The person stated that there is something stamped on it and they don't know what it is.

 

It's probably a tellers stamp.
Please provide a picture.

 

Most likely a tellers stamp that wasn't completed on the strap. Photos are needed for any answers.

ABA - American Banker's Association - probably the number is the routing code for the bank.

 

Routing number for Bank of America in Henrico Virginia.
