it might not be anything at all who cares. it is not about that at all. well to me it is not. when I would collect and look at my coins the differant designs the age of em the color of em then i put em away. now there are so many differant ones that you can go and read a article about a page watch a video like like subscribe. sorry for being difficult to some of your eyes i just was trying to get others to go and check their own collection to see if theres is odd or a design transition retired variety. instead you just wanted to look at my collection lol if you want me to share pictures of mine then please ask instead of trying to bully me into posting a picture or saying its useless if no picture so sad not sure if this even makes sense i hate writing

Yep! Politics and religion are two things that are not allowed to be discussed on CT. So, the mods just delete it.

You got in trouble with your very first post. You claimed that you had an error. Naturally, others will ask to see photos. What did you expect?

We see this error a lot, not just on these 1963 proof halves. It's upside-down. Turn it right-side-up. That way it will go in the right direction and the error will go away.

Is there anything else we can help you with? Just let her fly. That's why we're here.

for everyone to check their own and if they have it to post it but more than likely its meaningless

Above is your first post. Where does it say that everyone should check their own? You may not like writing, but you're not thinking about what you want to say before you put it in writing.

I think we can do without the insensitive remarks. He's new and he's trying to learn.

Well, for some objective feedback on all this...and on others similar, not always from "idiots" and "smart-asses" (that you know of at the time:woot:)...some of you can be mighty curt, impatient and intolerant. For heaven's sake, I...in my older age...can easily see where a member may simply forget to post photos or forget the importance of them in a rush, etc...let alone a new member. To jump all over him/her like a dog on a bone...and/or with this "no photos-it doesn't exist" mantra...leaves much to be desired of courtesy, consideration and civility. Yes, understand it happens more than we all want or that some can take...heck, I hate those (veteran members...not always rookies) who just post a photo and say virtually nothing of what they want nor have the courtesy to ask/explain about...and expect others to know. I want to crawl through the connection and lash out...but we need to control our frustrations and NOT do such. Just remind them that to be better helped, photos and/or explanations are required...in a nice way.

The thing is the op has been a member for almost 1/3 of a year so you would think he/she would know how to do this properly and your saying its been about 24 hours without a picture and thats not enough?

...For everyone to check their own...for what?
Unless you provide an absolutely perfect description of a known error or variety for people to be aware of and research...you actually didn't provide us even enough information to respond to you.

If you would like to learn things here...you have to ask questions.
If you would like to show us something...you have to post photos.

In regards to other things you said, you obviously have an opportunity to learn a lot.
There is no such thing as a "retired variety".
There is no such thing as a "design error".
There is certainly no such thing as a "design transition retired variety".

The problem you might be having is that people on these forums have personalities...some are a bit snarky when the post doesn't seem to make sense, be relevant, or provide necessary information or questions, and has no photos when there is something we should be seeing.

Yes...we like to see collections...but nobody asked you to post your collection.
We simply were wondering what the heck you were talking about since you provided no photos of the coin you seemed to both want to ask us a question about and inform us that you thought you found some unknown variety on a coin that old, which would be an incredibly rare thing by the way.

Yeah, we're trying out some new ones, now. They're still experimental for horses, but they've got some good early trials in humans, so wish me luck.
