My 1st MPC Notes

They are not that uniform.
Series 461 has just a design on the front and writing on the back and were from 1946
Same for 471 from 1947 and 472 they just have different colors.
481 from 1951 on the other hand had a seated liberty figure on the front and a cool eagle on the back of them.
It's like this one a bunch. But the higher denoms things change on some but not on others.

The series you are talking about is the 681 and I think the 5 cent to 50 cent all have the space walk but the higher denoms have jets and a space module.

Most have pictures of women or cool designs but each series (war) has it's own theme.

That does help. I find these notes very interesting. Is there a book about them that has illustrations about the different series?

 

Fred Schwan''s Military Payment Certificates is the most popular I think it's on the 4th edition.

Oh and BTW the series that you seem to like the most shows $4 to $175 in CU 60 and $9 to $600 in Gem CU 65 with the majority being less then $20 just the $5, $20 and $20 are the expensive ones in the green sheet.

 

Is this book still in print? I only see a couple listed on amazon and they are kind of expensive ($50 or so). Is that the normal price and is this book just hard to find?
