I ordered a 2009 proof set from the U.S. mint and it seems that it still has not shipped. I paid for 1-2 week shipping and was hoping it would be here for Christmas... Anyone who has ordered from them, how long does it usually take? BTW this is my first time ordering from the mint.
I recently ordered my yearly silver proof set anduncirculated mint sets about two months ago. It was six business days from the day I ordered to the day I recieved them. Is it timing, or is there some major inconsistancies when it comes to shipping times?
Rush hour Hoondiggi. Lots of folks ordering from the mint at this time of the year. If you didn't get your order in by the 11th then it ain't gonna get here before Christmas....

I hear that if you order more than $300 worth of stuff that you get next day shipping from the moment it leaves the facility. On 11/19 I ordered the Zachary Taylor Rolls in conjunction with some direct ship dollars. The rolls were shipped on the 26th and arrived on the 27th. The dollars arrived in two individual shipments at later dates but still next day delivery. Now its a little tough when you order a single proof set but if you combine your orders, you'll save on shipping and on time.
