It's a bit surprising to me, as well. All of this is not lost on me. I've found about 50 W mint mark quarters in the 4 weeks I've been looking for them. I'm glad I'm documenting all of this here, every find. Gives all this a little provenance when i go to sell a bag of 20 of them, lol.

So i dug out all my circulation silver dimes and lined them all up. The count was 90 total. Only this one had an S mint mark, making it one of my most rare coins, from circulation. Woo hoo.

Edit* i also counted my quarters, 106 total, minus 2 Canadian, so 104 American, 3 have the S and they're all from the '40s. Pretty cool.

I post my finds daily. What i post is strictly circulation finds, otherwise, I'll tell you, like the barber dime before, and the two 2 cent pennies, that stuff i bought.
