Is it worth paying for Varity Submissions to Anacs, assuming you already decided to send them to Anacs as opposed to other graders.
It might be nice. I am not sure. I am thinking that without the variety designation, that it is not completely described.
well, every coin is technically a variety. Some species are more famous for them than others. Especailly VAM Morgans, and Overton Bust Halfs, and Ikes. Ikes were so poorly done, that as a side effect, they have many varieties... which makes them interesting.
I submitted 45 Morgan dollars, all VAM's. On the submission sheet I entered the VAM # with the description. Makes life easier for the grader/ researcher. Make sure that it is worth submitting. The only thing rarer than a VAM, is the person that collects them. All Morgan and Peace dollars are VAM's most not worth collecting other than as a regular silver dollar.
