Shouldnt the roll be stamped $20.00 instead of $10.00 since their are 20 coins? Does this wrapping look legit? What do you think of the sellers grading guess? I guess it could be a good risk if the sellers description is accurate http://cgi.ebay.com/ULTRA-RARE-Morg...mQQptZCoins_US_Individual?hash=item439c1291ca
whenever an auction says "RARE" run! he says "I personally think its better to sock away the roll since there are very few unopened rolls left and that value will only increase as more get opened." then why is he selling it?
Looks like a clone of the 'Unsearched Wheat Rolls' guys....crap in the middle and a couple nice ones on the ends to gather interest.
This guy is no amateur... he's got a slew of coins up for sale and obviously is aware of specific Vams (enough to "guess" which one of the exposed reverese's could be). I find it VERY hard to believe he didn't "peak" and then reglue it.
I looked up the feedbacks for the dollar rolls he sold, and they all say good service, but no mention of the contents.
even then 2K+? on a roll of morgans? you can almost guarantee nothing could be in that roll that you couldnt buy individually for the same amount or less.
What if that CC is an 1884? And what if that O is an 1884? Or 1883? Really doesn't matter... You could have a bunch of common date, 63-65's in that roll! IMO, not worth the risk.
I want it soooo BAD!! But at that price.. Ouch.. Now if it had all CC Showing.. and the roll looked a bit better on the ends... SOOoo tempting.. risky but so cool.. If anyone gets this.. please post pictures!!!
