    Does anyone know the relative zinc and tin contents of bronze cents (i.e. 1909 - 1942 Lincolns as an example)? All I can find is that they are 95% copper, 5% tin/zinc, but I can't find X% tin and Y% zinc anywhere... is this information available?

    As far as I know from 1909-1941, 95% Copper, 3%tin, 2% zinc...
    1942, 44,45,&46, 95% copper, 5% zinc...
    1947, 95% copper, 4% zinc, 1% tin...

    If this is wrong please correct it...

    A couple minor changes;
    1909-1941, 95% Copper, 3% zinc, 2% tin
    In 1962 all tin was removed and it became 95% copper and 5% zinc.
