Went to a local show to pick up an IHC that was waiting for me. And of course I strolled around seeing if I could some find wantlist items. I believe did well. This is the IHC that was waiting for me. I now have all the 1900's in this grade. I'm also looking up do some upgrades to my Type Set. I got this one for that reason. And it's my answer to my "Preference" thread. Finally I got this for the same reason as the large cent, and upgrade to my Type Set.
I did not see this thread before I posted to the other one. Wonderful selection - very nice coppers. Not a bad morgan either.
Thanks for the compliments. I still have lighting problems when I take pictures. It's most noticeable on the 1851. The paired lighter areas at the top are reflections from the slab surface. I'll try defusing the light and see if I can lessen the impact. The rest of the problems with that image is rubs on the slab that I missed seeing. I've got the stuff to polish them off so I can easily solve that difficulty.
Very nice large cent Kanga! I would choose that over a RB coin any day. It looks very much like mine! Great finds!
Go to the NGC site and surf the Registry Sets, subcategory Type Sets for "Pride of Kanga". Except for my very newest coins all the images are there. Or someone smarter than I can post a link in here.
