state quarters PDSS in Dansco $230... at a yard sale

It just seemed like a good deal.. I mean the silver alone is worth more. What do you think?

Without pictures I don't know and can't say more.

 

If it's just the 50 state quarters, 50 silver quarters are worth ~$240 melt right now.

Melt is ~$5 per silver quarter as of this post.
You are looking at $5*50 + $0.25*150 = $287.50....so yes $230 is a good deal.

 

this type of thing- some silver has toning-- that sort of brown toning yo get from Dansco albums.

 

Did you actually check the edges yet.

 

first thing- also the coins just look silver- even in the pic

 

I think they were bought when they were selling the heck out of these things when silver was cheaper... the big guys were selling thousands of these things.. there are 10's of thousands of these out there
