After my morning fishing expedition, I'm glad to report success in "catching" my Polish coin. Being magnetic, I was able to use my two foot long mechanics magnet to retrieve it. Thank goodness for Metamucil. LOL

After numerous hot water and dish soap rinses, all is good. No worse for wear . . . coin or backside.

 

@Mountain Man you single handedly made it very clear why the Queen never touches money. That's for the common man she says.

 

Now this is the type of quality thread that keeps us all coming back to Coin Talk.

 

This reminds me very much of when I was a poor (nay, starving) college student walking to class on a windy day. I got some dust under one of my contact lenses, it hurt, so I popped it out to wash it off in my mouth. Gulp!

I am so glad I found this thread. I have laughed uncontrollably from start to finish….. I am not going to post it here because it would break the rules…..
