A friend of mine just got an order confirmation in email about one minute ago after never getting a confirmation on website. So if you got to the end there’s still some hope. Maybe.

 

Yup. I had an order in for 2 of each but never got a confirmation on the website. I kept trying to reorder and eventually the CC sold out. I moved on to only the O's and was able to get confirmation on those two.

The order history was down for about an hour and 45 minutes. Now that it's back up I see that both orders were processed so now I'm getting two CC's and four O's.

This has to have happened to a lot of people and I'm sure is part of the reason everything sold out so quickly. What a mess.

 

Now I've got an order # processing on the website but no e-mail confirmation. Sweet! I hope this thing goes through!

 

What a mess I ordered on my phone just lucky I was able to try. I ended up with 5 CC and no O mint. Maybe I can trade one later. The site crashed several times on me at check out feelin lucky to have gotten the CC's.

 

Does this mean they sold the entire Mintage of 175000??!!

In 25 minutes, that's 7000/minute or 116/second!

This seems nearly impossible... especially considering their 1970's server!

Some folks have deep and empty pockets now. The Mint has deep and fat ones.

 

I ordered the privy "O", 4 times, the site crashed during processing each time but the last. Then it set at "processing" for several hours with a stern warning not to refresh or hit the back button. No confirmation email either but it's still sitting in my "Bag". There's a note there that it's no longer available and I can't proceed or check out until I remove it. Fat chance of that. If it ever becomes available I'm a step ahead. Now, when the "D" and "S" mints come available on June 1, I'll have to decide to remove it if I'm lucky enough to get one of those.

On the bright side, I was able to get 3 of the privy "CC" in my bag and processed. The mint has my money and I have an order confirmation. Was only trying to buy 2 but the site crashed a couple times, was sluggish so I may have been a bit too happy with the buy button. Still happy. Deciding if I send them all for grading, or just two and flip the 3rd.

And BTY, I'm OK with the 0.858 oz troy as the physical size is the same spec as the originals.

 

Wait untill June ,2023 and buy slabbed MS 69;s for $60 or less

 

Not being a greedy guy, I was able to get one of each.

 

After the shameless 2021 Silver Proof Set price gouging; the absurd succession of omni-ethnic renderings of Lady Liberty's once-classic visage; and,the endless parade of niche-interest commemoratives, I'm convinced that the Mint no longer has any place in its PC/mercenary heart for John Q. Numismatist. I'm gone.

 

I thought I'd try to snag 2. I had them in my shopping cart. Went to pay. Immediately I was told they sold out. Typical Mint Shananigans

I lost out completely. I had a doctor's appointment at 1PM. It was a half an hour from my home. I tried opening up the Mint's website and I got about a half a dozen different messages that I couldn't get through. By the time I got back home, they weren't readily available. I think it said something about "Remind Me". I don't know how you all have dealt with that message, but they have only reminded me once. Are the coins all sold out or are they trying to see how many are sold to find out if anything is left. I would like one 2021 Morgan. If I don't get one of these, I'll try the next batch. But what about those messages? Were that many people on line that I couldn't get through. Oh well. Ill probably have to get one on ebay or someone else and pay bunches of bucks.

 

Remind me means they're sold out. They're only available if you see the red add to bag button. They sold out in 22 minutes so there was no time for a doctor appointment.
This doesn't bode well for the next two sales. Luck of the draw. If you're 20 minutes late they'll be gone. Household limit is just too high. With something this hot people just put the max in their cart ,no matter what limit is and hope for the best. Would hate to see how bad it wouldve been had they left it at 25.

 

In all honesty some of the allure will likely wear off as it goes on. The CC and O were an easy call to know they'd be the most popular, I'd be surprised if a D sells out in a couple minutes like these did

 

I hope it's not. The D and S I want the most actually. The 1921-D Morgans are some of the most interesting and overlooked of the bunch. So many varieties and interesting looks from there. Most having a multitude of interesting die cracks that you can try to attribute and polished spots. They might be the toughest to counterfeit. I bought a really interesting one this year.
I'd like a MS-70 2021 to go with it. Submitted myself of course.

 

I'd be pretty shocked if that one went as quick unless aftermarket prices are just exploding for some reason, the Peace will though.

 

I'm afraid that everyone saw how fast the first ones sold out and it may be more likely that more people will be piling in trying to get their hands on the rest. The Peace was already going to have more pressure than the rest and I think it just got ratcheted it up. I'm all for them lowering the household order limit. It needs to be done.
