Even the V75 American Silver Eagles had serious issues and they are $300 coins not $1,000.

Waste of time even trying. The Mint = our government at its finest.

I am very lucky. On vacation in Ocean City MD using rental condo internet service. Got two of each privy mark with little problem - just a one time glitch on submitting order. Then got confirmation screen.

Yeah... I had an AGE V75 in my cart but was not able to check out. Frustrating. Was lucky enough to get an ASE V75 after the AGE sold out in the first three minutes. Total mess and I don't know if they are drug testing at the mint but they might want to start.

An update to my experience today, I kept trying to check out and getting errors, I finally got to the confirmation page indicating that one of my orders had been processed. That was for two "O" Morgans which I tried to order after the CC's sold out. My original order was for 2 of each.

Well about an hour and 45 minutes later the order status site is working again and I see they are processing the initial order I placed for two CC's and two Morgans. So now I will apparently be receiving 6 coins (although interestingly I have only received an email confirmation on the two "O"'s.

Heck. I tried to purchase so many times without getting to the order processed confirmation that it could have been 8 of each. I wonder how many other people this happened to?

I'd rather do without. I will, though, be looking forward to hearing what Mike Mezack says about these on his TV show...should be a belly full of laughs.

Lol he already talked about it when he was selling 1921 Morgan Dollars at vastly inflated prices.

He insisted the price of 1921 Morgans would rise because people would want to “pair them” with 2021 Morgans. xD

It looks like they are sorting out the orders two hours later. You can check your order history now which you couldn't an hour ago. I now have an order # showing up and my buddy does too. Still no e-mail confirmation but I'm somewhat hopeful having an order # in my history for it.

There was a time when I would be upset but any more I just don't care. This is I think, the last year I'll be buying from the mint.
I very happy I don't have to go to them for my train stuff.

I'm done with the Mint. It's bad enough that they create artificial scarcity by limiting the production of what's certain to be extremely popular items to low numbers, then they compound it by setting the per user limits high so some people get multiple copies while others get nothing. Compound that with their incredibly crappy web server and the result is a headache that I just don't need.

A fairer method would be to accept orders over a period of a week or two, and then randomly draw from the list of orders until the limit is reached. To make it even more fair, each customer would get only one coin unless the total limit isn't reached when the end of the list is reached, and then (and only then) would repeat orders be fulfilled. This would make the whole process fair to people who don't happen to have good Internet connections, or live in an area where the local Cloudflare server is particularly crappy.

I'll go back to collecting real Morgans and not some modern imitation. No more ASEs for me either--I must have been nuts to start collecting bullion coins in the first place...

This ought to really tee some of you off about the Mint. I wanted one O privy mark. I wound up with two. No excuse for any of this.

I thought about trying to order one of each but then figured I'd rather spend my money on a Bust coin which I'd appreciate more.:)

And a Bust coin is much less aggravating.
