That 1953 Franklin is a toughie to begin with! It has the second lowest mintage in the series and is worth more that melt value! Nice going!

 

Oh man, I didn't even notice that!
We have one in our Franklin folder so I didn't bother looking at the mintage numbers. That's pretty awesome!

 

Yes it is interesting.....Salt River Bay was dropped by the bucket load around here (few W's of course) Also Tuskegee Airmen were heavily distributed here too. I must have 10 rolls set aside (which I will dump back into circulation eventually) HOWEVER......I have only found 8 Washington Crossing the Delaware (5 tonight) which I will keep every one that I find!

Has anyone found anything bizarre like say a large cent in a half dollar roll?

 

I've found an 1899 Great Britain Penny and also a Masonic Token. Those are the weirdest.

 

Apparently quarter eagles on the end of dime rolls aren't that uncommon, judging from eBay listings.

 

Got through the 3rd and 4th box today. 5 40% and 2 proof. Been finding a lot of proofs lately.

 

Got another Spitting Horse! From the customer rolls. Not amazing condition and needs some acetoning...But so much fun to finally spot another one!

 

No silver in the half dollars.

Got a box of cents all new 2021 zilincons.But I was surprised to find these sitting on the bottom of the box,any else?

 

No clue. I've heard of plenty of boxes that were picked over, but not picked under.

 

I've gotten a few picks in place of half dollars before. Never loose in a box though.

Got 10 rolls of quarters,all CWR'S was hoping for mabey a W. Didn't find one but was not disappointed with 29 delawares bringing the total for me to 32.

 

Good for YOU Pottydollar. They re showing up here now. I have snagged about 1/2 a roll from circulation. I think my grocery store has rolls of them. I know walgreens does since I got 3 in change from them yesterday and noticed the bright shiny quarters in the till
