HELP!!! My dime has only one side, does anyone know what this is or means?

    If the machine rejected it, that's probably because it's underweight. That could be from losing a layer from a lamination or from something being done to it after it was made. If the former, it would likely be of interest to a production-error collector. If the latter, it would likely be of interest to nobody. An in-focus, closer-image picture of the reverse of your dime would be helpful.

    Are you talking about the original Dime in this 3 year old thread.. It's an altered damaged dime.
    Not a mint error of any kind.
    FYI.. Entire Layers are not lost due to a lamination.
    They would be missing clad layer..
