Like vcoins, you are buying from individual dealers. I use it all the time and have had many good experiences. A lot of the dealers are in Germany, and they recently went under more lockdowns, so don’t expect quick shipping to the US anytime soon
I've used it before. I've seen several coins on there that I just couldn't find on eBay for any price. And sometimes I'd find coins cheaper than eBay, but also the other way around. Many of the sellers have very, very high shipping rates to the U.S. I had one order get lost on its way here and the seller gave me a refund with no questions asked.
Over the past 5+ years I've bought from several different dealers on this platform. Each transaction has been flawless. Even during the recent pandemic shipping was timely, 1-2 weeks. I highly recommend MA Shops and the dealers that use their platform. MA Shops does not sell numismatic items, they provide a platform for dealers to sell.
I've bought from several dealers outside the U.S. via MA Shops. Never had a real problem ... sometimes shipping is a bit slow but always received coins eventually. One advantage is that overseas sellers never charge state sales tax. Cal
I've used MA-Shop several times over the last year to purchase Ancient Coins in specific. I have not had any issues with the site itself nor with the sellers.
I've ordered off the site several times dating back to 2009. Never had any bad issues with the sellers, they seem honest. The only issues I've noticed are: 1) S&H can be high for some sellers. For some it is really out of line. One wanted $73 to ship a couple of lightweight coins totaling under $300 in value. 2) Some sellers charge extra for paying via credit card/PayPal. I personally feel that should be incorporated into the selling price of the item. 3) Some sellers say prices include VAT. However, as a US buyer this is questionable to be charged. I know there are ways to get a refund for the VAT, but the time it'd take is not worth the money. 4) Prices can be high. I'm not sure if the sellers are trying to compensate for high MA-Shops selling fees, but I can buy a lot of the coins significantly cheaper in the US than on the site.
Used them for several items, ranging from $25 to $2500. Only issue was delayed shipping due to Covid on my last order.
I went small to try it. 103.00 order from Germany. Nice coin and seller has good communication so far. I'll let you know! He said expect 6 weeks delivery. I've got 6 coins sitting in customs right now. But whatta you Do? I wanted those examples so... it is what it is I guess.
I've used them a number of times with good results each time. Also, I have a coin still sitting in Japan (my avatar) due to COVID that I bought back in August...
I bought some coins recently from Dirk Loebbers in Germany after seeing one I wanted on MA Shops. Shipping didn't take too long. I got one within 2 weeks, the other a week later.

After giving praise to MA-Shops, now I have an issue. Ordered a bunch of items from a few sellers. One of them sent most of the coins, but not all of them. Emailed them on 5/24 and 6/4 and cannot get a response. Don't want to do a chargeback as I received most of the order, but may not have an other option.
