(2) 2005P Buffalo Nickels

I was not aware that another Buffalo was minted in 2005. I know there are known errors but mine do not quality lol but hey that’s ok. Pretty coins.

There is a speared buffalo error on the 2005 buffalo nickels. Haven't found one yet but I'm looking

 

I believe most people say (speared bison)technically this isn't a Buffalo nickel not to get confused with the original design.

 

I guess it technically is a bison, haha.

 

And also the speared bisons are only on those minted in Denver (D)mint mark not P so keep looking.

 

Westward Journey nickels..... Yeah, I helped a friend of mine liquidate his deceased fathers coin collection three years ago. The man was a buffalo nickel lover and probably had thirty rolls of these Westward Journey nickels in his safe. He had them all tagged as "New Buffalo's"... LOL

 

That would be nice if they were actual buffalo nickels.

 

I don't think that is correct @potty dollar 1878. @PamR coin is a P and I've seen other P ones. There are also S I think too.

Yes I read about after I found it. I have another in my bag. I need to start putting the ones I favor and ones limited so to speak. I will say this, when I ask my husband to get a couple of rolls, I tell him to ask for the customer rolls. Not the ones from vault all of the time. That’s how I found these. Also the Louisiana purchase which I did not have.

 

Just scratch a line through the middle and make a hundred bucks.

You are correct. But he is a Buffalo but not the original for sure. In my father’s coins that I’m going through I’m hoping to find one.

 

Being from Louisiana I was please to find these. 2004D Louisiana Purchase Nickels.
