Ok are they or are they not going to be high relief? I thought the mint said it wasn't possible to make them in high relief yet this label indicates otherwise?

    From coinworld article:

    Other Mint insights
Ryder said the U.S. Mint was challenged with the 2021 Morgan and Peace dollars to secure sufficient planchets and coordinate output from three separate production facilities in three different states. (doubtful any more will be made this year than posted mintage)

Menna said the digital sculpting of the 2021 Morgan and Peace dollars, using original tooling from the earlier silver dollar issues, resulted in the best possible product for the newest issues.

*The 2021 coins are not considered high relief, Menna said. The portrait relief was adjusted so it does not extend above the rim of each coin, he said.*

I asked NGC on their chat board. Will see what they say.

It might have been an early design for the label before the mint clarified. I would think NGC will end up removing "high relief" from the labels by the time the coins are actually ready to be certified. It will be interesting to hear the response on their chat board.

It's all about status symbols. Special labels and designations. Will anyone even care a few years from now? I doubt it.

With a 200k mintage I just hope I can slip in and get one of the Peace dollars. I don’t do well with the internet buying thing. Hope I make it in.

No response but they’ve since changed the graphic for them on the home page. Now the Morgan is mostly covering up the Peace so you can’t read the label. Guessing they drew these up before official info was known.

The obverse of the Peace Dollar sure looks High Relief on the USMINT web site.

I don't trust any of the hoop la, the Mint provides us. I have gotten several emails from the Mint about the Morgan and Peace dollars, and one has had some change in wording, or is it my reading that keeps changing. I believe that we can hope that we can get the Morgan we want as well as the Peace Dollar. The creditability of the Mint is questionable at the very least. I have printed every email I have gotten from the Mint about the Morgans and the Peace dollars to compare to the actual coin that I hope I can get one of each, but I, first, want to get a Peace and then any of the Morgans,

Surely you mean "smoking in the restroom"?

But if so, and as it appears from photos that some have already been certified "high relief," wont THEY bring forth a premium to beat all premiums...!

@Mac McDonald that's the first time I've been quoted 11 times in a row! :p

As for your question, the coins have not even been released yet, so none could have been graded. These are computer generated sample photos.

The coin will not be struck in high relief, at least according to the mint's own website.

    https://www.usmint.gov/news/inside-the-mint/celebrating-the-iconic-morgan-and-peace-silver-dollars

"To re-create these designs for the 2021 coins, the Mint used historic assets such as coins, dies, and high resolution images to capture the artists’ original intent. However, the 2021 Peace Dollar isn’t struck in high relief like the original coin. The 1921 high relief design rose higher than the border, which makes the design elements susceptible to damage. The relief of the 2021 Peace and Morgan Dollars matches modern commemorative coin specifications."

The US mint could strike those 2021 Peace in ultra high relief if they wanted to. What about the 2009 UHR Double Eagle?
