I have had this for years but finally found time to photograph it. Anyone care to guess what grade ANACS assigned this?
That coin has been cleaned at some point. This can be easily seen by looking at the stars, around the eagle and under it's wings. Grime does not selectively appear only in these areas and not somewhat evenly elsewhere. It could have been done 100 years ago, but still.
I agree that it has had an old cleaning, but I think it is in a problem free slab as the cleaning is likely considered market acceptable. I would say AU-50.
