Ive had this 1890 coin for a while but this 1909 dime I just got tonight. Both came from customers payin at the store where I work. Just wonderin what they are and what they could be worth. I can take more pics but no sure thing theyd be any better =/
Can't tell for sure from the picture of the dime, but assuming FINE grade .... If that's a D mintmark, greysheet bid is $48 If that's an O mintmark, greysheet bid is $9
I couldn't tell either, upon first look I thought it was a 1909-D which is a low mintage date and definitely worth a premium. But in looking again, I can see it maybe as an 1909-O too??? Just can't tell and can't determine grade either from the photos.
On the Barber dime It's the little letter under the bow on the bottom of the reverse , it tells what city it was made in. rzage
Here is a 1909-P (no mintmark) Here is a 1909-D And a 1909-O Take a look on the lower part of the reverse as mentioned and let us know which one you have.
Illinni , whats with the O MM it looks like there's some extra metal on it from a die break or something , nice coins though . rzage:thumb:
